Livros de Anne Rice ganham nova adaptação para TV

A plataforma de streaming Hulu divulgou ano passado que estava preparando uma nova adptação dos livros, a produção já está sendo gravada e algumas novidades foram divulgadas, Christopher Rice, filho de Anne Rice, informou através de sua rede social que Dee Johnson, de The Good Wife e Mars, será a showrunner da série.
De acordo com o site Bloody Disgusting, a série deve começar adaptando o livro O Vampiro Lestat, o segundo da série de Anne Rice. Isso não é exatamente uma surpresa, considerando que Entrevista com o Vampiro já foi transformado em um filme de muito sucesso em 1994. Entretanto, o elenco ainda não foi anunciado, tampouco o ator que interpretará Lestat, vivido nos cinemas por Tom Cruise e Stuart Townsend.
